Expert InfoCAD Corporation (EICAD) has created a new add-on module titled
ARRISplus which provides a number of important enhancements to
ARRIS including:

This suite of tools has been seamlessly integrated into the ARRIS++ Enhanced Menus package to facilitate their use in a way that is convenient and natural to the normal work-flow. Each of these tools is discussed more fully in the appropriate section of this manual which can be accessed directly by selecting one of the links above.
While ARRIS++ and ARRISplus have each been designed to work independently should the other module be unavailable, the ARRIS user will realize maximum benefits when both packages are installed, allowing the full interaction between them to be utilized.

While, this menu provides access to all of the ARRISplus
utilities, its use is generally unnecessary since all of these
tools have been fully integrated into ARRIS++ in locations that
promote their use during the natural work-flow. For

As a failsafe feature, the original ARRISplus application overwrite menu may be displayed by right-clicking on the ARRIS PLUS button on the CUSTOMIZATION pull-down menu. This allows "emergency" access to new features added to the menu in the event that a new version of ARRISplus is installed without the corresponding update to ARRIS++. |

Each of the ARRISplus pop-up utility menus have the new documentation button located in the upper-left corner. Selecting this button will launch the Adobe Acrobat reader to display the manual chapter that relates to the current function. |

| In addition, the entire set of application documentation may be displayed by selecting the ARRISplus button from the QUERY pull-down menu or by selecting the BOOKS ON-LINE button from the ARRISplus application menu (seen above). | ||

Selecting this button from the ARRISplus application menu displays the KEYNOTE SPEC overwrite menu. However, this menu is typically reached by selecting the NOTE button from the MAIN menus, assuming that an appropriate selection has been made from the ARRIS++ OPTIONS menu. |

Selecting this button from the ARRISplus application menu displays the SPECIFICATION MANAGER pop-up menu. Typically, this menu is reached by selecting the MGR button from the KEYNOTE SPEC overwrite menu. |

If the ARRISplus module is installed on the system and currently loaded, then these menus are available and offer the following features.

The REPAIR LAYER tools have been fully integrated into the
ARRIS++ menus system. Refer to the
DIAGNOSE & REPAIR function on the EDIT and EDIT
SHORT pull-down menus as well as the pop-up tools menus for
TEXT,
PATTERNS and
ZONES.
If the REPAIR LAYER button is selected from the ARRISplus application menu, the consolidated REPAIR LAYER pop-up menu is displayed. |
